Ingredients
500 g minced meat (beef/pork/turkey) 1 large shallot, minced 1 large clove garlic, peeled and crushed 4 Tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped 1 Tbsp dried oregano 1 Tbsp coconut oil (optional) 1 tsp chili flakes 1 tsp lemon juice Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Directions
Mix all ingredients except oil and adjust seasoning to taste.
Form 1 1/2 to 2 inch diameter balls.
Lightly brush the surface of the meatballs with oil (optional).
Preheat the Birkeshire Air Fryer to 180°C. Place the meatballs in the air fryer and set the timer to 5 minutes. Cook until lightly brown.
Then toss the meatballs around in the pan and cook for another 5-8 minutes to your desired doneness.
Check for doneness with a fork or food thermometer.
Carefully remove the meatballs from the air fryer. Serve with curry, pasta sauce, noodles soup, mash, or as hors d’oeuvres with glaze of choice.
